The Cape May Room Framing

The top picture is taken at the top of the stairs looking toward what used to be our two shared bathrooms.  We removed the wall separating the rooms, as well as the wall separating the hall and rooms, and combined the space into one large bathroom.  The bottom shot is taken from the bathroom looking toward the new doorway into what will become the Cape May room.  Note the piping in the floor - it has to go through new lumber - the original plumbers of the home decided that 2" out of a 2 x 10 was enough of a structural member to support the floor and the house above.  We chose to disagree with them and had new framing installed.
